    MSA Replacement PID Sensor for Altair5X IR Series gas monitors. 0-2000 ppm Range.

    (Replaces MSA Part# 10165271)

    All ALTAIR® 5X PID Multigas Detectors manufactured prior to September 2023 will require a firmware update prior to using the new PID sensor, 10242735. This update must be performed on each device.

    For customers with detectors within the three-year warranty period, this will be covered as an in-warranty service by an MSA service center or an MSA authorized channel partner. For out-of-warranty detectors, customers will be responsible for the cost of service. Please contact customer service at 800-949-7233 for details.
