The replacement 4 series infrared methane (0-100% volume) sensor for the MX6 iBrid® has a measuring range of 0-100% by volume with a 1% by volume resolution. Due to the measuring range of this sensor, it is calibrated with a 99% by volume concentration of gas and must be done by hand. This sensor cannot be calibrated in a docking station as 99% by volume methane is a combustible level and the docking stations are not intrinsically safe.
